The Solway Firth Astronaut Incident.

In 1964, Jim Templeton snapped a few photos of his daughter out by Solway Firth. Nice day. Open field. Nothing dramatic.
The film gets developed.

The image Jim Templeton captured of his daughter and the Solway Firth Astronaut. 

But in one now-infamous photo, there’s someone behind her.

Its body is white. Its back is turned. Its head—well… something is off. Whatever it was, it wasn’t seen at the time. It wasn’t heard. It just showed up in the photo, as if it had always been part of the moment.

People would say it was Jim’s wife. It was an overexposure. An optical trick of some sort—never mind what kind, or that it couldn’t be explained.
The usual easy answers. The “please stop disturbing my fragile worldview with things I am not willing or wanting to be aware of” standard bullshit.
Case closed.

However, Kodak would say the photo was authentic. No tampering. No overexposure. In terms of high strangeness and baffling phenomena memorialized on film, Jim Templeton’s photo was the genuine article.

The Templetons went back to their regularly scheduled lives.

Then… the visitors showed up.

Two men wearing dark suits. They didn’t give their names. Instead, they went by numbers. Jim Templeton realized they probably weren’t the police, but they certainly liked to flex their authoritarian muscle and make veiled threats. They weren’t journalists either; as they asked questions, Jim was certain they already knew the answers and were checking to see if he had the same answers as well.

Men in Black (MIB)?

Through intimidation and threat of violence, they brought Jim Templeton back out to Solway Firth and demanded he tell them everything he saw.

Jim tells them the truth. He saw nothing.

The two men sneer at him. They look at each other and nod. They leave Jim out on Solway Firth to find his own way back home.

That’s it.
No paperwork. No follow-up. No explanation.
Just… contact made, assessment complete.

However, this story did not begin or end on Solway Firth.

Days before Jim Templeton took the photo, a missile launch at a British Air Force base (RAF) in nearby Woomera, Australia, didn’t go as planned. Something showed up where it had no right to be—or at least according to the UK government.

Rumor has it—and it’s a pretty credible rumor—that the test launch from Woomera, Australia, that day wasn’t exactly a test. It was an armed nuclear missile targeting Cold War–era Russia. Funny how those tests and drills often go live. Imagine if that missile hit its mark. That would have been WW3.

But… suddenly, a figure appeared. White. Humanoid. An astronaut!?

A figure. Some sources say two. One—the one—quickly scrambled up to a launch control center and, by some means, crammed a technological monkey wrench up its terminal ass and ruined the launch of a nuclear weapon on a British Air Force base in Woomera, Australia, forcing the satanic, globalist, Rothschild-funded, warmongering plot to bring about WW3 to a jarring halt.

The figure or figures? They disappeared. Not gradually, as they escaped, ducking behind boxes or a couch until the coast was clear, nor dissolving into a mist or heady haze, but as in—it or them—winked out of existence.

Where did they go? Well, a figure of such close similarity was captured on Kodak film by Jim Templeton, standing all slanted-like, in a chance photo behind his daughter on a sunny day in Solway Firth a few days later, echoing evermore through the halls of UFO lore.
